fair and just outcomes.

I begin shaping your case with a free consultation where I’ll learn about your situation. We’ll discuss the goals of your case, identify the strengths and weaknesses, and develop a defense strategy that’s best for your case. And while I always try to resolve cases without the stress of putting my clients through a trial, from the beginning, I am thinking about how to frame your case and prepare it for trial. Early preparation also allows me to uncover flaws in the prosecution’s side and also helps with negotiations. From the moment you retain me as your DWI attorney, there are two things that I can promise you. The first promise is that I will fight relentlessly for you. I am an experienced and skilled defense attorney who has handled a wide range of DWI cases. If you retain me, I will closely examine every aspect of your case and consider every possible option. I know your case inside out. And if we do go to trial, you’ll have one of the best DWI attorneys in Fort Worth in your corner. I’ll be the most prepared attorney in the courtroom. The second is that I will be there with you at every step of the process. I know how difficult it is to face DWI charges and that’s why I make myself available to be able to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and keep you well apprised of the progress of your case.

I encourage proactive dialogue with my clients so as to encourage a clearer understanding of their goals and effective anticipation of their legal needs. I will sit down with you, explain the DWI defense process from the arrest to the conclusion of your case, and advice you on the best course of action. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to play an active role in your case. I am here to help you and your family navigate through the stressful and difficult period with so much ease. I return calls and emails as soon as possible.
Once you retain me as your attorney, I will handle every aspect and every step of your case. I will establish the goals of the defense. I thoroughly investigate my cases, analyze the evidence collected by law enforcement, search for additional evidence, and consider all facets of the case. I also analyze searches and other actions by law enforcement for procedural improprieties that weaken the evidence provided by the prosecution. I don’t take the same approach to every case, every client receives personalized attention. While hard work and dedication are crucial to achieving the best possible outcomes, continuing legal education is also important. I go above and beyond to learn and grow as an attorney. When am not in the courtroom, I’m reading and studying new tactics, techniques, and approaches. I am a skilled and persuasive negotiator who can analyze the strategic risks of the prosecutor’s risk and develop an immensely favorable plea bargain. My reputation for not backing down enables me to work on the case from a position of strength that benefits you. I am committed to providing zealous and aggressive representation and fighting for your best outcome. My representation is not meant to only help your legal defense, but to also secure your future.
Results matter to me and I consistently get great results. I work hard to secure results that are fair based on your unique situation. There’s no clear cut approach to winning DWI cases. Every case is different with too many variables to consider. This is why I handle and defend cases based on their unique merits. I consider a case victorious when I’ve helped you move forward to a brighter future. When it comes to DWI cases, a victory can mean different things. A victory can mean the prosecution dropping the charges. A victory can mean the jury finding you Not Guilty at trial. A victory can also mean working out a plea bargain having the charge reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor or any other lesser charge. It can also mean being placed on deferred adjudication community supervision and having the charges and/or conviction expunged from your record. A victory can mean securing your freedom and clearing your future by keeping you out of jail or prison. Whatever the possible outcome of a case might be, zealous and aggressive defense is crucial. It’s worth noting that the defense strategy that will be employed in each case will depend on the facts of the case as well as the needs of a client. When we first meet, we’ll discuss your goals as well as the possibilities of reaching those goals.

I want to thank Andrew for the work and the time he put into my DWI case. He kept me updated on my case, he always answered my calls and took the time to explain the case to both me and my mom. And he always let me know when I had court. We ended up not having to go to trial in the end and I ended up with a clean record without any conviction on my record! Thank you again!

Andrew is a fantastic attorney. From the very beginning, he was confident in my case and helped me develop a great strategy of how we could get the best possible deal. After several months fighting the case and in the face of overwhelming odds, the charges were finally reduced. During this entire time, he was available and he was very supportive to me and my family. Thank you for the excellent work!

Here are some of my actual and recent case results with actual case numbers. Most of these are Tarrant County case numbers, although results from other counties, when mentioned, are identified. The names of my clients have been abbreviated for their privacy.
My client was driving around the busy 7th Street area of Fort Worth on a Friday evening. A police officer directing traffic at a busy intersection told him to stop, but my client did not hear him clearly. When my client proceeded slowly through the intersection, police confronted him. He was pulled out of his vehicle and arrested for a DWI.
My client had been out at a restaurant with friends and family. She left the restaurant and didn’t immediately put on her headlights at dusk. She was pulled over. Because of age and health concerns, she was unable to perform any field sobriety tests. She was arrested and took a breath test that was over the legal limit. This case was reduced to a lesser charge.
My client was charged with a felony DWI. If convicted, it would have had very serious immigration consequences for him. He is not a U.S. citizen but has been here on a green card and works and raises young children with his wife. I was able to get his charge reduced to a misdemeanor and save him from being deported to his home country and breaking up his family.
When police pulled my client over and smelled marijuana in his car, my client was arrested for DWI. After much fighting, on the day before trial, I was able to get this case dismissed. We had multiple opportunities to take different plea deals along the way, but my client was adamant that he would take no deal. Sometimes, it takes fighting all the way to the end to get the best results.
This case involved both marijuana and alcohol. My client was pulled over after leaving a concert and charged with DWI and possession of marijuana. Because he had a prior conviction for DWI, this complicated the defense of the case. In the end, the DWI was reduced to a lesser charge and the possession of marijuana case was dismissed.
My client had a DWI involving a breath test, but what complicated this case was a prior conviction for DWI. In the end, I was able to get the charge reduced and keep her from having to do any jail time.
